UPDATED: EU hands off biking demo - the sequel

source: MAG Central

Anyone fancy a ride on June 24th? It happens to be a week (and a bit) before the date set for the EU vote on a certain set of regulations.

The basic idea is to have one demo in each EU Parliamentary constituency, as this carries great symbolism. That is all over Europe, not just the UK.

We wanted to let you know the date ASAP, but MAG's National Committee and Campaigns team will now sort out the full details and this will take a little while.

We are now pleased to be able to pass on some more details for the June 24th demo.

Our regional muster point will be the Brampton Hut services on the A14, where we will be meeting up with riders from all over the Eastern Region from 12:30, ready for the main ride out at 13:00.

More details will follow soon.

See you on the June 24th.

Good bye

It’s with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to a very good friend, Biker, Scooter Skin, BMF Rep & of course our own MAG Deputy Rep.

Neil Easey who passed away on the 18th April 2012 was a loving husband, father, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Within the biking community nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was always there to lend a hand or lead/marshal any charity run come snow, rain or sun. Along with his wife Cicely no run seemed complete unless they were in attendance.

Neil was one of those who in his early years heard many people say that he wouldn’t reach 18…..he did! and a few more years after that, but not enough for his family and friends.

One of his favourite sayings was “only the good die young, I’m going to live for ever”

Yes Neil you will live forever in the hearts of all that knew you.

Ride free with the angels our friend
