Local Transport Plan 4 consultation
Calling all MAG members, bikers & scooterists who use the roads & city centre of Peterborough.
Ensure that we are not left out.....
Reply to the council through the Local Transport Plan questionnaire, question 8 allows you to have your say.
Remind them that in the LTP3 it recognises motorcycles as a form of sustainable transport.
Remember motorcycles fall under the vulnerable road user group along side pedestrians & cyclists & also reduce congestion on the roads.
A few suggestions for you to include could be:
Use of advance stop lines at traffic lights for motorcycles.
Not reduce available road width that motorcycles can use.
Retain & increase free secure m/c parking in the core of city.
Give priority to motorcycles along with the buses on the roads.
There are a number of open events re this consultation being held at the Peterborough Town Hall, your Rep & Regional Rep will be in attendance.
